Established in 1972 it is today a major player in the radio communications industry on the international scene, with a portafolio of products that ranges over PMR & LPD transceivers, across the CB and amateur range, up to the professional PMR radios dedicated to individual communication networks, professional equipments for public and private fields such as emergency health service or surveillancea.

By interpreting the market communication needs and applying this knowledge to the most advanced technologies, the company is able to diversify, ranging from in-house development of integrated radio communication products and systems to consulting and distribution world-wide.
Throughout the years thanks to a focused international expansion strategy, Cte International, with main office in Reggio Emilia, has managed to create over the years a commercial group with branches and associated companies in the most important countries of the world, headed by Cte International Italia, which is the head company, center of all R&D activities and owner of the brands of all products marketed worldwide (Midland, Alan Professional and Microline).
From its corporate headquarters in Reggio Emilia, Cte International has progressively consolidated its position by focusing production on 2 main areas that are managed by dedicated business units: Radio and Microline.
